Employment Growth (YoY)
This indicator assesses the changes in the number of full-time or part-time officially employed individuals in a country for the reporting period. It is calculated based on the survey sampling of the people at the age of 15. The calculation excludes the foreign residents, diplomats, and staff members of the Armed forces. Employment is one of the most important indicators for the state of the economy. The increase in employment indicates the revitalization of the labor market, rehabilitation of the economy, and the growth of social well-being in the country; it is a leading indicator of household expenditures and is considered a favorable factor in assessing the state of the economy. In addition, the indicator of changes in employment indirectly affects such an important indicator as the gross domestic product of the country.
