The indicator evaluates the change in the number of new orders in service companies and is one of the indices on the basis of which the non-manufacturing PMI from ISM is calculated. The calculations are based on data from a survey of supply managers from 17 sectors of the country's service sector for the reporting period. The information obtained is compiled into a diffusion index, the weight of which in the calculation of the non-production PMI index is 25%.
