Apple Inc. will increase the prices for apps and the in-store purchases on the App Store starting next month. The company's statement covers several countries, including Japan, Malaysia and all territories which use the euro currency.
The company's blog informs that the new prices will go into force on October 5. Exceptions will be automatically renewable subscriptions.
Apple added that the collection and payment of any applicable taxes will also be under change because of the new rules for Apple in Vietnam. The changes will involve the value added tax (VAT) and corporate income tax (CIT) at a rate of 5%, accordingly.
