Citigroup recuits leading specialist in chemicals investment banking from Jeffries

Citigroup Inc

According to Reuters, Derek McNulty moves from the Jefferies Financial Group Inc, where he previously held the post of the international co-director in a sphere of chemicals coverage, to a new position at Citigroup. 

Citi has offered McNulty a position in its banking, capital markets and advisory unit, and more specifically, a post of a head of investment banking of North America.

The corporation expects to expand its presence in the mentioned area by hiring McNulty.

Before joining Jeffries, Derek McNulty also had an experience of performing similar duties as a co-director of American chemicals investment banking at Barclays.
