The Netherlands will develop gas fields in the North Sea

The final investment decision has been taken by ONE-Dyas. The Netherlands company will produce gas in the N05-A field by placing a drilling unit close to the German border in the Netherlands part of the North Sea.

The gas field also covers German territory. The company has provided information about the first gas flow. This is expected to happen in about two years, "before winter of 2024". It will then be available to households in the Netherlands and Germany.

ONE-Dyas plans to invest 500 million euros in the development of this gas field. The company's management claims that this is the largest Netherlands investment in the development of a natural gas field in the last 15 years.

The project is getting active support and a smooth approval process from the Netherlands government.
