A survey on Monday showed that New Zealand's inflation rate will slow in the third quarter of 2022.
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand released its quarterly survey, which reflected an annual inflation forecast of an estimated 4.86%. In June, annual inflation was forecast at 4.88%.
Two-year inflation expectations also declined. This is the length of time that the Reserve Bank of New Zealand's policy will affect prices. They are now at 3.07% compared to the previous value of 3.29%.
