A million Australians will enter the cryptocurrency market within a year

According to the recently published survey data, around a million people in Australia will acquire cryptocurrency within the following year for the first time, therefore, resulting in increasing numbers of cryptocurrency owners in the country, which generally exceed the number of 5 million.

These are the results of the second survey on cryptocurrency conducted on the base of Swyftx, an Australian crypto exchange, and held annually. The survey was established by research company YouGov.

The final report stated that cryptocurrency ownership in Australia has increased to 4% on a yearly basis, climbing to 21% in 2022, in spite of the current so-called “Crypto Winter” that wiped out around $2 trillion assets from the digital currency market over the previous year.
