Final Data about GDP may confirm the recession in the USA

S&P 500

On Thursday, the economists will publish the data that will finally reveal whether the economy of the USA entered a recession in the first half-year.

The Ministry of Commerce plans to publish the third and final assessment of GDP together with new data about the growth for the last five years.

Officially the main indicator of production in the country shortened by 1.6% in annual terms from January to March and by 0.6% from April to May, and it shows the technical recession. 

According to Refinitiv, economists expect that new data won’t change on Thursday and will show a growth reduction of 0.6%.
