Invest in NVIDIA stock with $243 in view

NVIDIA shares are now hovering around $228, having pulled back from an early October peak of $243. However, there is no cause for concern, as this decline is highly unlikely to erode the company’s solid fundamental background: strong financial results and ongoing capital flows into artificial intelligence (AI). These factors promise a near-term recovery in the stock price.

NVIDIA’s impressive business growth remains a key positive factor. The second quarter (Q2) showed a spectacular 106% annual increase in revenue, bringing the total to $96.2 billion. The data center division rose by 117%, reaching $89 billion. Next quarter, the figure is expected to climb to roughly $108 billion, indicating sustained demand for AI computing power.

The development of the new Vera Rubin AI accelerator generation is an additional driver. This week, NVIDIA announced the expansion of the platform’s open architecture, which will enable major technology companies to boost data center construction and improve the efficiency of their computing infrastructure. Developing the Vera Rubin ecosystem is poised to strengthen the firm’s competitive position and support further sales growth.

That said, the atmosphere in the AI accelerator market is gradually heating up. Tech giants, such as Microsoft, keep developing their own processors in an effort to reduce their reliance on NVIDIA hardware. But those are tomorrow’s worries. For now, high demand for computing power allows the company to maintain its leading position.

The final recommendation:

— Buy NVIDIA stock at the current price of $228, targeting $243 within a couple of weeks.

— Place a Stop Loss order at $220 to manage risks if the market moves in the opposite direction.
