Stocks are in multidirectional dynamics on Tuesday. Investors analyzing comments from Federal Reserve officials about interest rate hikes and weighing the impact of Covid in China.
JPMorgan Chase & Co. strategist Marko Kolanovic, who was one of the loudest bulls on Wall Street until recently, said risky assets could weaken until the Fed changes course on its hawkish campaign to raise interest rates. A short-term reversal is probably not in sight, and JPMorgan expects assets to still be "at a more pronounced downside risk".
