According to Reuters, on Tuesday, Amazon.com Inc announced that Prime subscribers will be provided with more music and podcasts without advertisements. If earlier Prime subscription gave the right to listen to about 2 million tracks without advertisements, now their number will increase to 100 million.
An Amazon blog revealed that Prime subscribers will have an opportunity to listen to more new music and podcasts, play tracks, albums or playlists in random order, stream All-Access playlists collected according to their musical taste, and download songs offline.
The company has taken this decision as the retailers strive to combine entertainment services such as streaming with the main application and to expand the range of services for subscribers.
Currently, more than 200 million persons from all over the world use Amazon Prime service.
