Apple takes first place in the US PC market

Apple Inc

Apple Inc. is currently the leader in the PC market at the end of the third quarter, with a market share of 28.8%, in accordance with preliminary data from IDC.

“While we expect new Mac models featuring high-performance chips to continue to maintain growth in AAPL's L/T share, we are committed to maintaining the share rating at a neutral level, given additional risk of S/T to earnings and valuation due to reduced consumer demand,” Bank of America analysts noted.
