Saudi Arabia and Iraq emphasise the need to work within OPEC+

In a joint statement released by the Saudi Energy Ministry, the energy ministers of Iraq and Saudi Arabia emphasized the importance of working within OPEC+. The ministers also said they would certainly take further actions in order to ensure oil market stability, if the situation demands. 

According to the statement, Iraqi Energy Minister Hayan Abdel-Ghani and Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman met in Riyadh in order to reaffirm their commitment to the OPEC+ decision.

The Iraqi Ministry said Hayyan Abdel-Ghani arrived in Riyadh on Thursday at an invitation from Saudi Arabia.
