Michael Turpin, an early cryptocurrency investor and founder of Transform Ventures, predicted a significant rise in the value of Bitcoin in an interview with TheStreet RoundTable. In his opinion, the price of the largest cryptocurrency could reach $150,000 to $250,000 by the end of 2025, and $1 million by 2033. This forecast is based on his model, the "Four Seasons of Bitcoin".
Bitcoin's price may surge to triple its April 2024 halving level of $64,000. According to Michael Turpin, the new peak price usually occurs approximately a year after the halving. This is due to the reduced supply of coins on the market. Even if negative factors put pressure on the market, the peak price of Bitcoin, according to Turpin, is unlikely to fall below $150,000.
Turpin stressed that 2025 will be a record year for Bitcoin's market capitalization. A decrease in supply while maintaining demand traditionally leads to an increase in the value of the asset, creating favorable conditions for reaching new price highs, Turpin notes.
