Euro is going to strengthen next year — Danske Bank

Danske Bank predicts the strengthening of the main European Union’s currency by 2026. According to the forecast, the euro-dollar pair is going to reach 1.22 a year from now, up from the current 1.13. These estimates were announced by experts of the financial institution against the expectations of interest rate reduction by the Federal Reserve (Fed) of the USA. As noted by the organization, such changes may lead to a decline in the value of the US currency.

Bank analysts also expect the American regulator to cut interest rates by 125 basis points by June 2026 due to the impact of United States President Donald Trump's tariff policy on the economy. In their opinion, this process could begin as early as next month.
