Arthur Hayes, an American entrepreneur and co-founder of the BitMex firm, shared his opinion on the likely rise in bitcoin's value to $200,000 as part of an interview for Yahoo Finance.
According to him, this event should occur by the end of this year, and by summer the cryptocurrency may demonstrate growth above $110,000. Speaking about the current dynamics of the coin and the influence of President Donald Trump on its pricing, the entrepreneur noted the impact of “buybacks” in the recent collapse of the asset. Earlier on April 9, the bitcoin fell to a record low for 2025, after which it began to show a rapid rise.
Continuing the conversation about other cryptocurrencies, Arthur Hayes pointed to the stability of Ethereum and noted positive performance prospects of this network. However, Solana, in his opinion, may weaken its position in the cryptocurrency market within the next two years.
As US entrepreneur forecast, bitcoin could reach $1 million by the end of Donald Trump's presidential term in 2028.
