New Zealand Finance Minister: Inflation will decrease, but not fast

New Zealand Finance Minister Grant Robertson said Tuesday that inflation is likely to fall. However, it will not be a rapid fall to its usual level.

In an interview with state-run TVNZ, he said that the world economy is going through difficult times, and that Europe and China are still having problems. Despite all the difficulties of the current period, inflation is expected to start falling this quarter.

He added that while the situation has been difficult, there is no need to worry about the state of the New Zealand economy as it has been doing quite well so far.
