Chicago Cboe BZX launches first Solana ETF — YahooFinance

According to Yahoo Finance, the first exchange-traded fund (ETF) on Solana was launched Wednesday on the Cboe BZX exchange in Chicago.

The fund, named REX-Osprey SOL and Staking ETF, is available to investors seeking exposure to Solana. Binance data shows this cryptocurrency's market capitalization stands at approximately $81 billion. In addition to tracking Solana's price, the fund pays holders a variable monthly dividend, currently yielding 7.3%.

On Wednesday, Solana's token price jumped 2% to $155.69. Greg King, CEO of REX Financial, reported the ETF attracted over $20 million by midday.

Amid more cryptocurrency-friendly policies from US President Donald Trump, analysts now expect the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to approve more applications for crypto-focused funds.
