Economic reports out this week

S&P 500

The housing market will be a big part of economic news in the coming week. Lately the real estate sector has been under pressure from rising inflation,  also been impacted by rising borrowing costs and slowed economy rates.

Watch for the latest release of developer reports on Tuesday, track data on building starts and permits on Wednesday, and look for existing home sales on Thursday. 

Investors will be assessing the key industrial production report, as well as keeping a close eye on regional manufacturing data from the New York and the Philadelphia Feds. In addition, the weekly jobless claims report will be also reviewed.
