According to Reuters, Tesla is recalling more than 24,000 cars across America. The reason is that some defects were found in the seat belts of the Model 3 2017-2022 car.
The company has clarified that it’s likely that belt assembly mistakes were made during vehicle service. The second-row left seat belt buckle and second-row center seat belt anchor need to be reassembled correctly.
Tesla has assured the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that it’s in possession of 105 repair reports, including warranty claims. Some of the reports are directly related to improperly assembled belts.
