Head of China’s PBOC considered the negotiation with Yellen as constructive

According to the governor of the Chinese central bank Yi Gang, the negotiations with the US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Wednesday were very constructive. They took place sometime after the heads of the United States and China met to reset relationships.

In an interview with Bloomberg News, Yi Gang admitted that the conversation was honest and fruitful. The talks themselves were on the sidelines of the G20 forum where the world leaders had arrived. Yi Gang didn’t clarify the details of the negotiations.

Before the meeting, the Department of Treasury’s officers said that Janet Yellen will request information about the Chinese anti-COVID policy and problems in the real estate sector. Recently, the authorities of the Celestial Empire made important steps to change the measures of fighting the coronavirus and are seriously engaged in saving the real estate market. The reaction of the markets was very stormy.
