The German stock market index DAX has been moving in the downtrend since the beginning of the year. Last week there was another attempt to break out the trend up, but it was failed again.
However, a "bullish engulfing" formed on the chart yesterday, and the second half of the month is ahead - a good time for the DAX. Probably, it will be possible to see a new test of the downtrend line in the coming days.
