Boeing 737 MAX landed in China for the first time since 2019

According to the information provided by flight tracking internet services, Boeing 737 MAX, belonging to the national airline of Mongolia, MIAT Mongolian Airlines, successfully landed at the airport in the Chinese city of Guangzhou. The event became the first time this model of jet executed a commercial flight on the territory of China since spring 2019, when 737 MAX had been banned from flying in the country.

As it was stated in the information from FlightRadar24 and VariFlight, the jet was used for flight OM235 which started in the capital of Mongolia Ulaanbaatar. On the morning of October 10, the flight touched down in Guangzhou.

It wasn’t officially announced that 373 MAX was returned into commercial operation by Chinese airlines. In September, the Boeing company, in its turn, stated its intention to start remarketing certain aircraft planned for the Chinese clients.

The 373 MAX model is officially brought back into service by most countries, with China and Russia being the two exceptions.

The manufacturing company of the jet in question refused to provide commentary on the MIAT flight, saying that the works on bringing 373 MAX back safely continue under the guidance of global regulators and customers.
