Natural gas price halts decline driven by U.S. stockpiling data

After the publication of data concerning the stockpiling of natural gas, its price decreased by almost 3% and then stopped near $3.5. The U.S. authorities reported a rare weekly increase in fuel reserves.

Weather forecasts say that overall temperature will remain mild until January 22. The only exception is the Southeast region of the country, where a sudden cold snap will happen.

This means that after 10 days, according to long-term forecasting models, freezing Arctic winds, which are typical for this season, will return. They may remain in the central and eastern regions of the country until February and increase demand for natural gas.
