Nvidia reveals new gaming chip with artificial intelligence feature

Nvidia Corp unveiled new flagship gaming chips. It is known that they will be aimed at artificial intelligence to enhance graphics. The company relies on one of the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSMC), to produce graphics chips.

During today's broadcast at Nvidia's conference, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced the launch of the newest “Ada Lovelace” series of graphics chips. The architecture was named after Ada Lovelace, the British mathematician and first computer programmer.

The flagship GeForce RTX 4090 model will be worth $1,599. It will be released to the market on October 12. In November, two more affordable RTX 4080 models will be available, the pricing will start at $899 and $1199 respectively.

The new Lovelace graphics chips support an artificial intelligence feature aimed at making video game graphics better. Computing what each pixel on the screen should look like is a time-consuming process. Nvidia chips use artificial intelligence to predict how some pixels should look like, without having to do all the computations. NVIDIA's Lovelace chips extended this algorithm to generate entire AI-powered frames.

In a press conference, Matt Wuebbling, vice president of global GeForce marketing at Nvidia, made a statement, reporting that people from across the world will have the chance to buy the Lovelace chips. The campaign will not be affected by the U.S.export ban on advanced AI chips to hit China market.
