JPMorgan CEO warns of recession in 6-9 months

According to CNBC Monday’s news, JPMorgan Chase & Co CEO, Jamie Dimon, claimed that the U.S. and the global economy have many chances to face a recession in the 6-9 months.

In the interview, he highlighted indicators of a potential recession. These include inflation that cannot be controlled, significant interest rate hikes and unclear implications of the tight Fed policy.

Dimon also stressed the gravity of the coming situation. In his opinion, a recession in the U.S. could be triggered by Europe, as European countries themselves are already in a recession.

CNBC also reports Dimon forecasts the S&P 500's 20% drop is more than real. At the same time, the next similar fall will hit harder than the first one.
