A report on this calendar event is released monthly by the The Conference Board.
This indicator measures the overall value of 8 labor market indicators reflecting the main employment trends.
The indicator includes the share of respondents who "find it difficult to find a job"; initial applications for unemployment insurance; the share of companies whose vacancies cannot be closed right now; the number of part-time employees; the percentage of part-time employees; the number of open vacancies; the indicator of production in industry; real production and sales.
Comments by the MarketCheese analysts: an increase of the indicator value may contribute to the rise in quotes of USD.
