International reserves are highly liquid foreign assets controlled by the ECB. These reserves may be used to regulate currency exchange rates, as well as to pay for imported goods and services.
The increase in reserves indicates the strengthening of the country’s financial security.
An increase of the indicator value may contribute to the rise in quotes of EUR.
