Novak: Russia will approve Kazakhstan's application to supply oil to Germany

Vice Prime Minister Alexander Novak stated that Russia is ready to support Kazakhstan's application for oil exports to Germany through the Druzhba pipeline. This is reported by TASS.

On December 29 the press-service of the Kazakhstan oil transportation company Kaztransoil reported that the company has applied to Transneft for the transportation of Kazakh oil in the amount of 1.2 million tons to Germany in 2023. Also, it was reported about the agreement on services for the transportation of oil through the Belarus territory. The contract is signed between Kaztransoil and Gomeltransneft Druzhba companies.

On December 21, information about the possibility of sending an energy source shipment to Germany in early 2023 appeared. It is planned to export Kazakh oil through the Druzhba pipeline to Schwedt in the east of Germany (Brandenburg Federal Land), where the oil refinery is located.
