Tesla's Model Y is the best-selling car in Germany

Tesla is still the most popular electric vehicle brand in Germany. This was confirmed by the September release of Tesla sales data. It demonstrated that almost 14,000 electric vehicles were sold in Germany, which is more than 6% of the market share.

Germany is the biggest European sales market for BEVs. Sales of Tesla cars Y and 3 exceeded 9,000 and 3,500 units, respectively. In total, almost 40,000 electric vehicles were sold in Germany in the first year. Reports demonstrate that by the end of 2022 the company plans to sell 80,000 BEVs. It is still possible to achieve this sales volume in Germany in 2022.
