Tesla delays mass battery production in Germany until 2024

At the end of the previous week, German business daily Handelsblatt announced that Tesla isn’t intended to launch mass battery production at its European plant located nearby Berlin until 2024.

This decision was explained by the current company’s production problems, which were outlined by Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk two years ago.

Despite the fact that a new technology has already successfully proven itself during tests, it won’t yet be implemented into mass production.

Further, the Tesla’s plant in Gruenheide will be able to produce about 500,000 battery-electric vehicles per year after its launch.
