Serial production of Tesla’s Cybertruck is postponed to the end of 2023

As stated by Reuters, an American manufacturer of electric vehicles, Tesla, plans to launch Cybertruck into mass production by the end of the year. This model of industrial pickup was first presented in 2019 by the company’s Chief Executive Elon Musk. Its serial production at first was scheduled for 2021, then moved to 2022, and last time to the middle of 2023.

Tesla has been preparing its plant in Austin, Texas, for Cybertruck production. According to Musk’s announcement made during his conference call with financial analysts, the preparations are almost over.

Cybertruck was originally priced at about $40,000. However, regarding the price growth of new vehicles, the pickup’s price has also been changed, as, basically, the entire line of Tesla’s electric cars.

The mass production of Cybertruck will be Tesla’s invitation to one of the most profitable market segments, where it’ll give competition to such companies as Ford Motor Co and Rivian Automotive.
