Tesla plans to decrease the production volumes of electric cars in Shanghai

The Tesla company plans to preserve the production volumes on its Shanghai enterprise at a level of 93%.

After the recent modernization, the plant can produce up to 14 000 Y electric cars and 8 000 of 3, thus nearly 20 000 items. The leader of the electric car market aims to keep a stable workload of the enterprise excluding the periods of equipment upgrade and production stop for two months at the beginning of the year.

According to the data from the CPCA, Tesla's sales are up 60% since the beginning of the year. However, this is still less than the global level of sales, which has grown tenfold.
