China's economy is expected to revive after providing support for recovery caused by the unfavorable external environment and the loss of momentum in the global economy. This was reported by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
Easing the strict zero-COVID regime should bring profits to China. However, the risk of affecting businesses and consumers caused by larger virus outbreaks remains.
In addition to the COVID, weakening of the external demand and the real estate sector are also difficulties that China has to face.
The NDRC said that the economy is beginning to recover after the COVID-19 optimization and control measures. It expects that China's economic growth will continue to accelerate.
A representative from the NDRC said that it is necessary to make efforts to provide a sustainable economic recovery as the economy faces a more challenging external environment and a slowdown in global economic growth.
