CEO of Canary Capital says XRP ETFs may outperform other cryptocurrency funds

Canary Capital CEO Stephen McLurg predicts that XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) may outperform Ethereum and Solana ETFs in terms of returns. He made this statement amid continued growth in institutional investor interest in cryptocurrency funds. McLurg cited XRP's unique legal status and reliable payment functionality as key advantages.

The expert referred to a recent court ruling that confirmed XRP is not a security. This legal clarity could accelerate the coin's inclusion in a 33 Act fund, unlike competing cryptocurrencies that are still under regulatory scrutiny.

Additionally, XRP is one of the few cryptocurrencies designed for large-scale, real-time, cross-border transactions. This distinguishes it from Ethereum and Solana, which are not focused on institutional payments.

Despite the optimism surrounding the XRP ETF, official approval has not yet been received. Bloomberg analysts predict a 95% probability that the fund will be approved by the end of 2025. The recent rise in the cryptocurrency's price above $3 reflects growing investor confidence in XRP.
