Danske Bank: Brent crude oil to fall to $80 by end of 2023

Economists at Danske Bank said that Brent crude oil would settle lower the following year. Oil prices may slide to $80 in the fourth quarter.

The economists slashed their Brent oil price forecasts for 2023. They see it averaging $90 per barrel in the first half of the year. Price may drop to $80 per barrel in the fourth quarter.

In their view, global inflation pressures have started to ease, especially in the US. Asia may still be the default market for Russian oil next year. The greenback’s rebound will make oil prices change.
