The presented indicator estimates how the number of barrels of crude oil stored in the warehouses of Cushing, Oklahoma, has changed over the reporting period.

Warehouses located in Cushing are important as they are a delivery point for WTI oil, the benchmark for American crude oil.

An increase of the indicator value may contribute to the fall in quotes of WTI, Brent.
