Google is creating a cloud space in Greece

Alphabet Inc. owns Alphabet Google, which announced on Thursday that it will create its first cloud space in Greece. This will give a push and acceleration to the country's efforts in becoming a global center for cloud computing.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis made a preliminary assessment of the deal. According to his calculations, the deal will have a positive impact on Greece's economic growth. The profit from it will be about 2.2 billion euros (2.13 billion dollars). Furthermore, it will allow to create about 20,000 jobs by 2030.

At an event in Athens, Adaire Fox-Martin, president of Google Cloud International was happy to announce the investment in Greece's first cloud space. This space will provide storage and cloud services to Google users.

Based on her statement, thanks to this investment, organizations will be able to use their data more efficiently, delays will be reduced, and users' cybersecurity will be high.
