Reuters calculations and information from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission show that speculators' net long positions in the U.S. dollar reached their minimum in more than a year last week.
The net long position of the dollar lasted a week and ended on November 8. Its value was $2.36 billion. The value of the previous week was $3.08 billion.
Net contracts of the International Monetary Market speculators in Japanese, British, Swiss, Canadian and Australian currencies and euro, were the basis for the positioning of the US dollar.
