Earlier this month, the EU agreed to postpone retaliatory tariffs against the US for 90 days, proposed as a response to the existing 25% duties imposed by Trump on European steel and aluminum exports. This decision followed the US president's move to reduce tariffs on most European Union exports from 20% to 10% for the same period.
