Major corporations to start aggressively buying Bitcoin in second half of 2025 — Castle’s Stephen Cole

Since the start of 2025, Bitcoin has surged by 15%, drawing significant investor interest. A key driver behind this rally has been the growing trend of companies building up their treasuries. More and more firms are adding BTC to their crypto portfolios as a hedge against inflation and a bet on its potential to become a global reserve asset, according to Yahoo Finance.

Analysts expect this trend to accelerate in the coming months. While Strategy remains the current leader, new players like Metaplanet and Twenty One are already stepping up the game. Stephen Cole of Castle predicts that by late 2025, major corporations, including Big Tech, could start aggressively accumulating Bitcoin.

Meanwhile, Ethereum is at a turning point. While it still lags behind some of its competitors, promising shifts are already taking shape within its ecosystem. According to David Lawant of FalconX, several factors could give ETH a boost. These include Ethereum’s integration into traditional finance, active crypto trading on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), and the upcoming launch of ETFs.
