Economic and energy paradigms in West are to change

Competition between the West and the rest of the world would intensify, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev wrote in an article that was published in the Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

In addition to this, relations between the members of the anti-Russian alliance may deteriorate. Medvedev assumed that economic and energy paradigms in the West could change in the long-term, with new reserve currencies to be issued.

Medvedev noted that  Russia would have a special place in the new world, which has yet to be found. By forging strong relationships with friendly countries given the new rules of cooperation, the officials will achieve this goal. Russia will also have to make efforts to ensure national security, independence, and sovereignty in key spheres.
