A week ago, Kazakhstan and Germany had oil supply negotiations. As a result of a successful talk of Vice Chancellor of Germany Robert Habeck and Kazakhstan's Minister of Energy, the two countries have reached an agreement. It is oil supply from Kazakhstan to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline.
The Vice Chancellor himself characterized the negotiations as a "good talk" and was clearly pleased with the result, since Germany will not be left abruptly without oil. The oil coming from Kazakhstan does not fall under the embargo; Russia will not interfere, as the Minister of Energy assured the Vice Chancellor.
Nevertheless, the Vice Chancellor noted that there can be no absolute certainty in the last statement, recalling gas supplies.
