The first batch of diesel fuel from Kuwait has been sent to the European Union. As noted in the statement of the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), which was received by the country's news agency KUNA, the fuel was produced according to special standards that meet the criteria of European markets, primarily for the winter period.
According to this report, the 66,000 tons of diesel sent to the EU was produced specifically in accordance with the standards of European markets.
The KNPC also added that in order to bring fuel standards in line with the requirements of Europe, a refinery at the Port of Mina Abdullah conducted a number of studies. Thanks to this, the company was able to improve the properties of the fuel, as well as increase its presence in international markets.
In addition, the corporation stated that from now on its refinery can produce this type of diesel fuel, the difference of which is high quality and compliance with advanced environmental standards.
